Corredor Vial Canal Seco, connects Honduras with El Salvador.
    Municipality of Goascorán

The CRECER project drives economic development in the El Amatillo border area between Honduras and El Salvador, focusing on job creation and attracting investments. Strategically located, Goascorán has direct access to the CA-1 Highway and the El Amatillo Border Crossing, which handles 25% of the country’s land-based foreign trade. This positions the area as a key logistics hub in Central America. The CRECER project has forged strategic alliances, including with the Municipality of Goascorán and the National Investment Council (CNI). As part of this alliance, local officials receive training, and familiarization visits and personalized support are provided to interested investors. This ensures unique assistance for realizing potential projects, solidifying Goascorán as an attractive and competitive investment destination.

The CRECER initiative aims to generate economic opportunities and promote productive and decent work in El Amatillo border area.
