Ukraine: Building economic resilience of conflict-affected individuals and MSMEs
Overview
Summary
This project seeks to strengthen the economic resilience of conflict-affected Ukrainian communities by empowering individuals, especially IDPs, women, and other vulnerable groups, to improve their income and employability. It also aims to enhance the capacity of local government institutions and BSOs to foster trade intelligence and market linkages for small businesses. Implemented through four strategic pillars, the project focuses on creating a Virtual Learning Space (VLS), advancing employability for Ukrainian women, building BSO capacities, and promoting inclusive economic resilience at the community level. Leveraging digital channels, the project encourages innovation and digital transformation in Ukraine’s economy, ensuring adaptability during wartime disruptions. Beneficiaries include individuals gaining professional and digital skills, Ukrainian businesses accessing new markets, and BSOs better equipped to support a transformed economic landscape.
