Pacific Islands: Tonga Tourism Development and Investment Roadmap & Solomon Islands Tourism Statistics Development (PACER plus)

Summary

PACER Plus aims to increase trade in services and inclusive foreign direct investment amongst Pacific Islands countries by supporting initiatives that improve sector coordination, drive inclusive digital trade, and promote an improved enabling environment. The primary objective of the project is to develop the Tonga Tourism Sector and Investment Roadmap and raise awareness of key officials to effectively implement the Roadmap. The roadmap aims to define priority actions to reinforce capacities, attract investment and enhance local economic impact. In the Solomon Islands, data management for tourism sector development has been identified as a priority area for support.
