Business survey study to identify the information needs’ of EU services exporters

    Overview

    Summary

The International Trade Centre (ITC) proposes to carry out a study to identify the information needs of EU services’ exporters that trade outside the EU. Secondly, the study will help identify the main barriers that these exporters face when trying to retrieve information on trade-related regulations and procedures. The results will help feed into possible future work to develop and improve the services’ component of the European Commission’s Market Access Database (MADB). Services represent the largest economic sector in the EU in terms of employment levels and value addition. Services trade is expected to strongly support the additional 2% growth potential that the EU Trade Policy Agenda has envisaged to deliver in the coming years.
