Jean-Marie Paugam assumes function of Acting Executive Director

Mr. Jean-Marie Paugam to act as head of the International Trade Centre until new Executive Director is appointed.

Mr. Jean-Marie Paugam has assumed the function of Acting Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (ITC) following the departure of Ms. Patricia Francis. Mr. Paugam assumed his new role on Tuesday 4 June, and will serve as acting head pending the appointment of a new Executive Director.

Mr. Paugam, who has served as ITC’s Deputy Executive Director since March 2011, has extensive experience in trade promotion and trade policy with the French civil service where he has held several senior administrative positions.

Immediately prior to joining ITC Mr. Paugam worked at the French Treasury as Head of the Bilateral Relations and Export Finance Department, and as Assistant Secretary for Bilateral Relations with Africa, Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Middle East.
