The International Trade Centre is convening the ITC Partnerships for Africa Day on 12th June 2025.
Join us for an inspiring afternoon spotlighting Africa’s trade transformation! The event brings together policymakers, entrepreneurs, regional institutions, and global partners to celebrate impact, exchange ideas, and shape the future of inclusive trade in Africa. Explore high level engagements, real success stories, network with changemakers, and experience Made in Africa through showcases, products, a fashion performance and taste of African delicacies.

The event features a rich programme, beginning with a welcome session and followed by three interactive panel discussions. A Made in Africa marketplace will display products from across the continent, while a pan-African food tasting and networking cocktail will create space for informal dialogue and connection as the official pre-event to the Swiss–Africa Business Day organized by the Swiss-African Business Circle (SABC) on 13 June 2025.
A fashion show featuring African designers Emmy Kasbit, Judy Sanderson and PEUHL VAGABOND, by designer Dyenaa Diaw, will close the event, celebrating the continent’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Importantly, the conversations and insights emerging from Geneva will also contribute to the upcoming Global Conference on SMEs in Johannesburg, South Africa. The goal is clear: ensure Africa’s small businesses are visible, supported, and shaping global trade policy.
The event is organized in partnership with the Swiss-African Business Circle, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the African Union Commission, the AfCFTA Secretariat, and Afreximbank.
