    Overview

    As part of the United Kingdom Trade Partnerships (UKTP) Programme, the International Trade Centre (ITC) is delivering a series of specialized export-focused training sessions to empower firms and institutions in developing countries and economies in transition. These sessions aim to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to navigate the complexities of international trade, particularly within the framework of the UK's Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) and Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs).

      This session provides a comprehensive overview of the European market for fresh fruits and vegetables. It covers key topics such as Zimbabwe's current FFV exports to Europe, the competitive landscape, and the technical, safety, and certification requirements for successful export. Additionally, the session explores key trends influencing FFV imports in the UK and Europe, including social and environmental concerns, fair trade, and the demand for organic and locally sourced products.
