Albanian SMEs to Showcase Organic Excellence at BIOFACH 2025

    Overview

Albania Showcases Sustainable Agriculture at BIOFACH 2025

BIOFACH 2025 offers Albanian small businesses a premier platform to highlight their rich agricultural heritage and commitment to sustainable food production. With over 18,500 industry professionals expected to attend, this globally renowned trade fair for organic food presents a unique opportunity to introduce high-quality, eco-friendly products to a global audience dedicated to sustainability and excellence.

Taking place from 11 to 14 February in Nuremberg, Germany, the Albanian Pavilion will feature a curated selection of organic olive oils and medicinal and aromatic plants. Representing nine leading companies from these sectors, the pavilion will showcase Albania’s wealth of natural resources and deep-rooted farming traditions, meeting the increasing international demand for authentic, sustainably produced goods.

As a key destination for buyers, distributors, and industry experts seeking premium organic ingredients, the Pavilion is expected to generate strong business interest. Albanian exhibitors anticipate that up to 10% of their new business connections at BIOFACH 2025 will lead to confirmed sales, fostering international market expansion.

This initiative is part of the Trade Promotion East: Balkan States and Central Asia programme, spearheaded by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Through strategic networking, business matchmaking, and market intelligence, the programme equips Albanian agribusinesses with the necessary tools to enhance their global presence.

Beyond immediate sales prospects, participation at BIOFACH 2025 will allow Albanian SMEs to connect with key industry stakeholders, gain insights into emerging market trends, and establish long-term strategic partnerships. Their presence reinforces Albania’s reputation as a reliable and competitive supplier in the global organic food industry.
