The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest annual outreach event in Geneva. This year’s theme, ‘Trade works,’ provides a platform to assess 20 years of global cooperation in the WTO and identify areas for future efforts. ITC@ the WTO Public Forum focuses on how sustainable trade can work for small and medium-sized enterprises.Join a two-day event on sustainability standards; buy Haitian bangles at the ITC booth in the WTO Atrium; and join us in seven other sessions during the WTO Public Forum.
The second Trade for Sustainable Development Forum will bring back to the table key partners and practitioners in sustainable trade to discuss progress, trends and new challenges. The event will look at progress by the signatories of the Trade for Sustainable Development principles (Sustainability, Transparency, Harmonization, UN SDGs) and innovative approaches to building sustainable supply chains that ensure small-scale producers have a voice in the global market.
A limited-edition collection of bangles featuring animals from the African savannah is available for sale at the ITC booth. Created through ITC’s Ethical Fashion Initiative, the sales from this collection will be reinvested in Haiti.
ITC advocates for SMEs in a range of WTO Public Forum sessions. See the full programme here.
