The Kigali Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), a geographically specified and physically secured area, offers specific incentives including more liberal and simplified economic regulations for businesses to physically locate and operate within one industrial zone.KSEZ is located in the Nyandungu Sector, Gasabo District of Kigali. It occupies 276 hectares of land, divided in two phases, the first is 98 hectares, while the second phase is 178 hectares. The site offers well-developed infrastructure, including newly-paved tarmac roads. Inyange Industries is a leading food processing company in Rwanda, manufacturing a variety of products under the Inyange brand, used since 1997. In 1999 the company began processing and selling pasteurized milk and yoghurt. In 2001, it introduced its mineral water product line. It is the market leader in Rwanda in agro-processing.The company has begun expanding into neighbouring countries.
