Procedure for Registration as Potential Supplier:
ITC follows United Nations (UN) guidelines for procurement. It is the policy of the UN to do business with companies who are registered suppliers with the UN. ITC shares its vendor’s list with the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), so if you are already a registered supplier with UNOG, ITC will have access to your information. Interested parties who are not yet registered through UNOG are therefore strongly encouraged to register directly at United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM).
Requests for registration of the company will be screened by ITC for:
- Relevance of the product/service for ITC requirements
- Sufficient length of time in business
- Acceptance of ITC General Conditions for Goods and Services
- Compliance with ITC/UN payment terms
- Financial situation
Submitting a completed application package does not mean that you will be automatically included in the Vendors’ Database. Registration will depend on the result of the evaluation. Upon acceptance, the company’s name will be added to the ITC/UNOG Vendor list and be given equal consideration during vendor sourcing for a particular tender. The list of registered vendors for ITC/UNOG is available under UNOG site.
Please also be informed that the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) is also available for the registration of your company. UNGM is a central supplier database utilized by the UN Organizations and Agencies, including ITC. Therefore, you are encouraged to go to the UNGM website and register your company by logging on to: http://www.ungm.org.
Vendor banking details
In order for ITC to ensure accurate payment for rendered services or delivery of goods, vendors are requested to fill out and sign the Banking Detail Form (pdf).
