How do we match temporary assignments and suitable candidates?
ITC builds a talent pools comprising of eligible applicants at different grade levels and may choose to find suitable candidates from those pools.
When a specific need arises ITC may advertise a temporary vacancy notice (normally for one week). For such vacancies, applicants must submit their PHF for the vacancy notice.
What is a temporary talent pool?
The temporary talent pool is a roster/database of pre-tested eligible candidates who are available for temporary assignments at ITC. The Roster gives candidates the opportunity to find flexible, short-term work whilst getting experience of working with ITC and the United Nations system.
To be considered eligible inclusion in a talent pool at ITC, candidates must meet the requirements of the talent pool vacancy notice. Only applicants possessing the required qualifications will be taken into consideration. Eligible applicants will go through a screening process, and only successful candidates will be notified of their inclusion in the pool. Successful candidates will remain in the pool for 6 months from being notified, and may be considered for short term assignments at the rostered grade level.
