At the request of the Executive
Forum network, the ITC is organizing a cycle of specialized
consultations over the first half of 2005. The various
consultations cover key issues raised at the 2004 Montreux debate,
relating to the theme of “Competitiveness through Public-Private
Partnership”.
The consultation on “Competitiveness through Export Clustering: Strategic
Considerations” was held from 11 - 13 April
in Tirupur, India. It was
co-hosted by the ITC Executive Forum Team, UNIDO and the Tirupur
Export Association.
