    ITC, in partnership with seco and the Kenyan Ministry of Trade and Industry, held its first Regional Executive Forum in Nairobi from 26 to 28 November 2001. 

    The consultation were part of Nairobi Trade Week which included a Buyer-Sellers Meeting and the launching of ITC's E-Trade Bridge in Kenya. 

    The Regional Executive Forum focused on the theme "Re-thinking Export Strategy".

    Eight national teams from Southern and Eastern Africa participated, with each team comprising a senior public-sector strategy-maker, a representative of the business community and a representative of the telecommunications sector.
