About the WEDF

For the past decade, the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) has been ITC’s flagship event. It is a unique global forum dedicated to discussing innovations in export development and export competitiveness, and to identifying and analyzing the challenges faced by developing countries and economies in transition.

The WEDF brings together between 300 senior national and international policymakers, heads of trade support institutions, representatives of international agencies, and business leaders from about 50 developed and developing countries. The theme of each forum is developed through a participatory process involving a number of preparatory workshops between ITC and event partners.
