Support to Organic Certification and Export Marketing
Location: Kenya
In cooperation with KOAN, ITC supports the process of conversion from conventional to organic farming for smallholders. The project will target two cooperatives who supply organic products to the national and international markets. The programme will train farmers in sustainable harvesting techniques and Internal Control Systems, and provide support to farmers to contribute to certification costs. Exporters will also receive export marketing training. |
