New online courses available from the SME Trade Academy

The International Trade Centre is ramping up its virtual presence, rolling out a string of online courses on its successful SME Trade Academy.

The courses, which are all free of charge, cover a wide array of topics relevant to employees and managers of small businesses looking to improve their companies’ operations.

The SME Trade Academy offers a catalogue of online courses ranging from export marketing to supply chain management and access to finance. The courses are delivered by ITC experts and are designed in response to the needs expressed by companies themselves.

Courses on the SME Trade Academy provide managers and staff of small businesses, and trade and investment support organisations, with the necessary tools and practical knowledge to enhance the internationalization of companies.

Aiming to strengthen the resilience of small businesses, many of the courses can also be taken by companies faced with the ongoing coronavirus crisis to develop new ideas and solutions.

Upcoming SME Trade Academy courses are scheduled to start on 23 March, 6 April, 13 April and 27 April 2020. These modules will cover issues such as cross-border contracts, how to raise funds for your business, transport and logistics, e-commerce and an introduction to the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement.

A majority of courses are delivered in English, with an increasing number also being made available in French and Spanish.

Those looking for e-learning with quality, pragmatic and practical training that is fine-tuned to respond to the needs of small businesses are encouraged to check out the SME Trade Academy and register as soon as possible.
