The production and exports of organic fruit and vegetables in Asia

This regional seminar, organized by FAO, IFOAM and Earth-Net, aims to assist Asian decision-makers from the private and public sectors in analysing the opportunities and challenges in the production and exports of organic fruit and vegetables. It will examine the market situation and the outlook for organic horticultural products, exploring how Asian countries could take advantage of market opportunities.

The seminar is of interest to decision-makers from the organic trade, farmer organizations, organic movements, certification bodies, government, regional and international development organizations, as well as other public-sector institutions that work in agricultural development in Asia. It will be held two days prior to the IFOAM Trade Conference.
