Established by ULAIA to train shoe and leather goods entrepreneurs and upgrade of shoemakers from Government institutions to improve performance of the leather sector in Uganda. TCFC is registered as Limited by Guarantee without share capital and also as an NGO. TCFC is manufacturing using the trained shoe and leather goods entrepreneurs in the following products 1- Safety shoes (boots) 2- Security boots 3- Back to schools shoes and different designs for individuals. Employment comprises of 14 trained entrepreneurs organized by 3 management staff to produce 1560 pairs per month. |
