Presentation of the Company:	Tannery and Leather Improvement (U) Ltd., was established in 1995 and started operation in 1999. I The installed capacity is 7,500 hides and 30,000skins per month. Capacity utilization is only 10%. The annual turnover is currently at US$ 336,110-. The company employs 21 people to produce wet-blue for export.
Cooperation Sought:	Requires technical assistance in tannery machinery maintenance, technological transfer, marketing and tannery management accounting and additional funds (machinery and spares) and if possible additional equity financing to put in place finishing line that will lead to production of crust and finished leather. Current constraints:Lack of working capital leading to low capacity utilizationWet Blue market access.Future plans:-Increase level of production and capacity.Put in place crust and later finishing line for both local and foreign markets.A joint venture investment is thus desirable, Participation in trade fairs/seminars/workshops to introduce the company's products to the international market.
