Presentation of the Company: Foot Protection Services was incorporated in September 2003. The company took over assets/machines from Uganda Shoe Company on understanding that Bata would be the potential customers/clients. The company is owned by a group of former Bata employees of the leather department who pulled their resources together. The company employs a total of 45 people on permanent basis contributing to the production of 6000 pairs a month. The current market is local with Bata being leading consumer. The annual turnover exceeds $35,000 which depends on Bata orders with us.
Cooperation Sought: The company is looking at how it can expand in terms of factory premises, acquisition of better machines and modern technology. The current market coverage is still very small with Bata. The company needs to spread wider thus we need partnership in marketing of products.
