The Palm Group was established in 1966. Companies in the footwear division include Palm Footwear Manufacturers, Trinzado, Caprini and Nu Era.
The group's products include school shoe brands Album number 1 and Jonty, Trenzado ladies leather shoes, EarthinStyle comfort men's and ladies range and Caprini (ladies synthetic). Palm footwear employs 450 people. Palm Footwear has concluded an agreement with a British holding company FII to manufacture synthetic ladies shoes under the Lotus brand using imported material from Italy.
