Presentation of the Company:	T.Baatai & Sons Tannery was established in the 1950's and is located in Asmara. In 1971 the tannery was well equipped with modern machinery. The tannery is engaged in producing wet-blue from skins & hides, pickle from skins, finished leather & crust from hides & skins. All the semi-processed leather i.e. wet-blue & crust is for export & finished leather is for local consumption. The tannery has 55 employees, and the annual turnover is US$ 500,000.00.
