    T4SD Sustainable Investment Consultant - Geneva

    The Trade for Sustainable Development (T4SD) Programme is looking for a consultant to support the implementation of the “Sustainable Investment into Africa” project implemented under the Special Initiative for Training and Job Creation by BMZ. At least three years of relevant professional experience with the private sector, business associations, international organizations or technical assistance providers is required. Experience in working with investors, the investment or M&A department of private companies or associations, or public-private partnerships is desirable. Experience in working in Africa is an asset.     Digital Content Consultant

    National Consultant: SheTrades Technical Advisor for Liberia

    The International Trade Centre (ITC) is looking for a National Consultant: SheTrades Technical Advisor for Liberia, to work with the SheTrades West Africa team, within the Sustainable and Inclusive Value Chains (SIVC) Section, of the Division of Enterprise and Institutions (DEI). Please find attached the Terms of Reference. The candidate should have at least 5 years work experience in the context of development cooperation and project implementation, preferably related to women’s economic empowerment and/or agricultural value chains, and should hold an advanced degree (MA/MSc or other) in International Economics, International Trade, Development Studies, Social Science or related field.     Consultant International Skills Development (Gambia)

    The International Trade Centre (ITC) is looking for an International Skills Development Expert, to work with the ITC Jobs, Skills & Finance (JSF) for Women & Youth project. The consultant would be based in The Gambia. The candidate should have at least 5 years work experience in training, management and/or consultancy of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) projects in developing countries. Experience in working with such institutions in West Africa would be an asset. The candidate should hold an advanced degree in skills development, behavioural studies, sociology or related field.     ITC is looking for motivated Web Developer Consultant with advanced knowledge of web technologies and methodologies, preferable with a prior experience in Microsoft web technologies mandatory such as (C# / ASP.NET 4.5 / JQuery/ React/ HTML5/ CSS3/ WEBAPI) and other JavaScript frameworks. Candidates with master or bachelor degree having minimum 4 years of hands on experience with front-end and back-end web technologies.     Regional Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Lead Expert (Myanmar)

    ITC is looking for a Regional Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Lead Expert to work with the ITC SPS Myanmar team in Yangon under the Arise Plus Myanmar project funded by the European Union (EU). The Lead Expert, based in the region, will be leading the delivery of Component 2 of the EU-Arise Plus Myanmar Project on a 30% part-time basis with regular (preferably monthly) travels to Myanmar. Please find attached the Terms of Reference. The candidate should hold a degree in Agriculture, Food safety, Economics or Law or in the related field, with at least 15 years’ professional experience in with an international technical cooperation agency or in SPS related technical assistance projects, preferably in Myanmar or the region. Fluency in English is required.     International Trade Policy Expert, ARISE Plus Myanmar

    ITC is looking for an International Consultant to work with the Department of Trade (DoT) within the Ministry of Commerce in Myanmar. The main purpose of the consultancy services is to support Myanmar to meet its regional and international commitments on trade issues and to advice on how to address non-tariff barriers along value chains, while mainstreaming trade policy in the country’s development agenda. Advanced degree is required in International relations, economics, business administration, law or related fields, and at least 15 years of practical work experience in trade policy, in particular, areas such as trade negotiations and trade policy formulation,including experience in LDCs, especially in Asia.
