    The Trade and Market Intelligence section of ITC is seeking National Consultants to support the implementation of a large-scale company survey designed to collect data on women’s participation in extra-EU trade and challenges faced by women-led exporting companies. Target countries for the pilot survey are Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden. National consultants will conduct company interviews and undertake tasks related to data digitalization. For details, please see the attached Call for Expression of Interest.     Consultant-Economist

    ITC is looking for a dynamic Consultant Economist to work with the Chief Economist and Export Strategies Section, of the Division of Market Development, to assist with design of surveys, the collection of SME competitiveness data, production of country competitiveness reports, as well as support for impact evaluation of ITC’s technical assistance projects.     Events Consultant

    The Communications and Events (CE) team is seeking a consultant for the preparation and staging of ITC events throughout 2019. Targeted support is required to cover planning, content development, logistics, staging and promotion. The CE section provides thought leadership and communicates about the impact of the work of ITC’s technical sections. Within ITC’s mission to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing and least developed countries in order to enable them to trade internationally, the events consultant will be required to provide support to the ITC flagship event, the World Export Development Forum (WEDF), as well as other events throughout the year. WEDF focuses on trends in the global trade debate, with recurring topics such as agriculture, jobs for youth, trade facilitation, investment and climate change adaptation. Side events typically include facilitated business-to-business meetings, business skills workshops, a women and trade event, and investment meetings. Other events include the International Women’s Day, the Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) Day, as well as contributions to several UN and WTO-related events in Geneva or beyond.     Market Access Upgrade Programme for the East Africa Community (EAC) – MARKUP

    ITC is looking for international and national consultants with proven experience in market access conditions for coffee, tea, spices, horticulture (including avocado) and cocoa. The candidates must have a sound understanding of SMEs ‘ needs in the EAC region. Candidates must have knowledge on Value Chains development for those products and experience on facilitating overseas investments from start to conclusion, attracting foreign direct investment and supporting SMEs to meet investors’ requirements. In addition to sector specialists, ITC is also looking for other experts on the following themes: 

    - Trade Facilitation, Trade Policy and Regional integration issues with a context of WTO rules and international trade requirements; 

    - Market requirements, including SPS, TBT, standards, certification, packaging and norms, in particular for the EU market and from the production to the clients; 

    - Access to Trade Finance and Financial Services, access to credit and supporting financial institutions assisting SMEs in the region; 

    - Strengthening Trade Support and Investment Institutions; 

    - Green Trade, Resources efficiency and climate mitigation capacities related to trade and business; 

    - Market Analysis and research;

    Consultant on e-solutions development

    ITC is seeking an international consultant with expertise in e-commerce to help review our strategy of assisting small firms achieve success in e-trade, and to develop additional training modules to support the programme. Based in Geneva, the consultant will work alongside the ITC team to review experience on the training programme and tools that have been developed and build recommendations for its evolution – including new technologies and partnerships.     Consultant / Trainer on e-commerce in Central America

    ITC is seeking an international consultant with significant experience in professional advisory on e-commerce and familiarity with the business landscape and culture of Central America. The consultant will work within a project seeking to promote online sales of handicraft and home decoration items produced by Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama).     Market Study Consultant

    The Refugee Employment and Skills Initiative (RESI) - Dadaab, Kenya seeks qualified candidates for the position of Market Study Consultant.     Textile and Clothing Expert
