Description

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent more than 80% of private enterprises in Africa, are the largest employer in Africa and are particularly important providers of job opportunities for women, youth and vulnerable communities. The Roundtable on AFRICAN SME SUCCESS STORIES: ENGAGING WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR FOR DEVELOPMENT, hosted by ITC in the framework of the 5th EU-Africa Business Forum (EABF), will showcase SME success stories that demonstrate not only why support for the private sector has a positive impact on development but also how to engage with the private sector for development. The event will be held at the EABF at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Brussels on Tuesday, 1 April from 14:30-17:30.
