Management & Organisation

In this chapter of the business plan you will present your management team and decision structure. Most of the below information will be defined in the statutes or bylaws of the support institution.

If the statutes are already finalised they should be attached to the business plan. In this case the description of the governing bodies, their responsibilities and roles as well as the meetings and nomination procedures will refer to the attached statutes.

1 Foundation Team

Start with a short presentation of the foundation team, its qualifications, its experience in the field of activity and why it works well together.

2 Management & Governing Bodies

List the management and governing bodies the institution chooses to have and the qualification of the people involved (do not repeat if already stated in the foundation team). The decision on the bodies is based on the way you want the management and decision structure to be, respecting also your country's laws on not for profit or for profit associations and institutions.

Most organisations establish the following bodies:

-        Board of Directors / President

-        Day-to-day Management / CEO, General Secretary/Executive Director, Treasurer

-      General Assembly/Member Meeting
