Programme Planning

Every year, the management team has to elaborate what will be the portfolio of programmes/services offered to best fulfil the objectives in the Business Plan. These programmes and services are basically defined and outlined in the Marketing Plan of your Business Plan. In this chapter, we plan the delivery of these programmes and services in detail.

As a preparation, we recommend that management, together with the staff, will list all planned programmes/services and list for every programme/service what will be the outputs and contributions to the institutional objectives. Furthermore, think of all the necessary activities to deliver the programmes and services, and what resources are needed to perform the individual activities. These include human resources, information, know-how, assets and financial resources. This is a first feasibility check as to whether the institution has access to these resourcss.

We will demonstrate step-by-step how to plan your programmes and services. This will result in a project document that you can hand over to donors, sponsors and other stakeholders
