The Action Plan lays out how the Business Plan will be implemented and hence how your institution will implement the plan. The Action Plan should provide a detailed listing of all major activities to be undertaken during the coming year along with a rough outline of important activities to be completed during the following 2-4 years.

Try to group major activities into work packages per broad objective (e.g. ensuring access to facilities, expansion of customer base, availability of human resources, fundraising, marketing, etc.) and assign each listed work package a
starting and end date, a budget and the name of the section and person responsible for carrying out the work package.
