The balance sheet summarises the value of your assets on one side and the value of your liabilities and capital on the other side at a given point in time. The balance sheet therefore indicates how the funds available to your institution have been invested.

In the business plan, it would be good to attach the balance sheet of the previous year and to forecast the balance sheet for the next coming 1 - 3 years.
