The tools and materials of the programme are based on the Business Management System (BMS) framework.
To diagnose an enterprise’s e-readiness, ITC provides its partners with the e-Opportunity Assessment Tool. This online tool first helps the consultant to determine how much an enterprise can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its business processes with ICT. It then enables the consultant to map the degree of ICT utilization against this potential, locate the gaps, and assess the capability of the enterprise to utilize ICT.
The Using e-Trade Tools for Competitiveness component contains tools that help SME managers use the Internet for specific purposes.
The Learning from Best-practice Cases on e-Trade component offers e-trade best practice cases from enterprises as models for SMEs to emulate. These cases are outputs of the Winning With the Web (WWW) special programme.
The e-Competence for SMEs programme is aimed at trainers and counsellors as well as SME managers. Some of the tools are made available on the e-Trade Bridge Websites. ITC’s partners acquire the skills needed to use these tools and materials through the E-enabling the SMEs programme.
