Study
attempting to quantify and assess firm-level impacts of complying with
international environmental standards in Pakistan - carries out a micro-level
analysis of individual firms in the textile and leather sectors; presents the
north-south perspectives on environmental standards in the context of more open
trade; provides the rationale for industry selection and details of relevant
standards; presents results of the social costbenefit analysis; links key
findings of social cost-benefit analysis with policy and institutional
recommendations. |
