Vietnam is located in Southeast Asia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand, Gulf of Tonkin, and South China Sea, as well as China, Laos, and Cambodia. Vietnam mainly exports electrical and electronic equipment, crude oil, coffee, footwear and rice. Its main export partners include the US, Japan, China and Republic of Korea. Vietnam mainly imports fuel, electrical and electronic equipment, machinery and fabric. Main import partners are China, Republic of Korea, Japan, Taipei (China) and Singapore. It is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the World Trade Centre (WTO).
