Rule 215All cotton must be weighed ‘gross weight’ on a bale by bale basis unless otherwise agreed. The tare is to be deducted from the gross weight.Rule 2162. Gross Landing Weights – All cotton must be weighed by the buyer under the supervision of the seller’s representatives at the agreed point of delivery or other location as determined by the buyer and seller. If the cotton has already been sampled, a weight allowance must be made for the samples taken.
