  • Roster for Temporary Support Staff

    The Roster is a database of suitable and eligible candidates for a temporary appointment – which is a time-limited appointment of less than one year. Temporary General Service (GS) Support Staff are required in cases of seasonal or peak workload or specific short-term requirements.

    Minimum eligibility criteria:

    • Completed secondary education, technical or commercial school;
    • At least two years of experience in one of the following: administration, secretarial, finance, human resources, communication, etc.
    • Good Microsoft Office 2007 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
    • Advanced knowledge of English with a working knowledge of French or Spanish. Knowledge of other UN official languages is an asset.

     

    Other requirements:

    • Candidates must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
    • Recruitment for short-term employment is subject to local recruitment: only candidates living within commuting distance (50 km) of ITC headquarters will be considered.
    • Ability to work with Microsoft Office 2007: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. An ability test will be administered to candidates under serious consideration.
