ITC proposes a wide range of challenging job opportunities:
- Vacancies
- Short-term opportunities
- Consultants / Individual Contractors (new!)
Vacancies relate to regular appointments (at the Director level and for the Professional and General Service categories) or positions in the field of technical cooperation (as Expert or Adviser), funded for 12 or 24 months.
Short-term contracts are aimed at filing temporary needs for durations ranging from one week to several months. For information and to apply click here.
Consultants Individual Contractors: The International Trade Centre frequently engages consultants, who are a recognized authority or specialist in a specific field, to support the organisation's programmes and projects. A consultant must have special skills or knowledge not normally possessed by the regular staff and for which there is no continuing need in the organisation. The functions of a consultant are results-oriented and typically involve analysing problems, carrying out studies, directing seminars or training courses, preparing documents or writing reports on the matters within their area of expertise on which their advice or assistance is sought. Consultancies may be home-based, or may require travel as part of the assignment.
ITC has developed an on-line roster for suitably qualified Consultants Individual Contractors interested in working with ITC. The registration of qualified female candidates is strongly encouraged. If you are interested in being considered for employment with ITC as a consultant, please register online here.
ITC is looking for individuals with very good experience in access to finance for SMEs in Least Developed Countries and in diaspora trade to work on the development of a training programme. For details please see the respective terms of reference: Finance TOR & Diaspora TOR
