The ITC Annual Report 2011 outlines the overall performance of the ITC, financially, organizationally and in terms of the impact of our work. Our report has been structured by the delivery responses which are linked to our strategic plan. In 2011, ITC delivered more trade-related technical assistance (TRTA) than it has ever done, even after adjusting for exchange rate fluctuations, exceeding its delivery target and demonstrating credible results across all of its performance measures. The Third Global Review of Aid for Trade held at the World Trade Organization (WTO) emphasized the importance of meaningful, measurable results, and the results of ITC’s work were plain to see. ITC contributed five case studies directly to the Global Review and 20 indirectly through partners, illustrating the impact of Aid for Trade. Highlighted in this annual report are nine case studies that bring ITC’s work to life. Our expertise in TRTA and gender equality was likewise on display at the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) held alongside the Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV) in May.
