    Training the trainers

    March 16, 2012
ITC and Uganda's National Union of Coffee Agribusinesses and Farm Enterprises (NUCAFE) held from 14 to 16 March a workshop for 22 future trainers to underscore the importance of ensuring sustainable export competitiveness in the country's coffee industry.
The session covered sustainable practices and global trends, codes of conduct, roles and responsibilities, training methods and action plans for trainers. Coffee, Uganda’s biggest source of foreign exchange, brought in almost $450 million in the 12 months that ended on 30 September, 2011.
