| Presentation | Founded in 1993, the International Arbitration Court of the
Juridical Centre "IUS" is the sole recognized arbitration centre
with significant experience in the field of international disputes
settlement in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2002 the head
office of the International Arbitration Court of the Juridical
Centre "IUS" has been in St. -Petersburg, with an agency in the
Republic of Kazakhstan located in Almaty(with branches in other
cities of Kazakhstan). The non-commercial organization The
Juridical Centre "IUS" (St.Petersburg) is founded by the Law
Research Institute "Law Centre Nauka"(St.Petersburg) and the
Juridical Centre "IUS" (Almaty) for the specific task of providing
the activity of the Arbitration "IUS". The Arbitration "IUS" offers
business a full spread of dispute resolution services, with
arbitration at the core, and it has the agreements of co-operation
with a number of arbitration bodies from many different countries
of the world. The awards of Arbitration "IUS" are recognized and
enforced in conformity with the New York Convention, and also in
conformity with other international conventions and
agreements. |
| Functions | The Arbitration "IUS" offers business a full spread of dispute
resolution services, with arbitration at the core. One of the
functions of the Arbitration "IUS" is to provide for settlement by
arbitration of any business disputes and other disputes in
accordance with the Rules of Arbitration of the International
Arbitration Court of the Juridical Centre "IUS". The Arbitration
"IUS" provides cost-effective administration of arbitration,
mediation and other methods of ADR, in different venues and under
different systems of law. The Arbitration "IUS" is an international
institution, offering efficiency, flexibility and neutrality to all
parties involved in dispute resolution under its auspices,
regardless of location. The Arbitration "IUS" Rules are available
in English, Russian and Kazakh. In addition, the Arbitration "IUS"
constantly organizes seminars and scientific and practical
conferences, including international, about arbitral matters. |
