It is recommended that the following model clause be used.
"All disputes arising in connection with the present contract
shall be finally settled under the Rules of Conciliation and
Arbitration of the Permanent Commercial Arbitration Court of the
Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry by ... (one or three)
Arbitrator(s) appointed in accordance with the said rules."
If the contract is an international one, the parties should
particularly foresee the applicable law, the venue and the language
of Arbitration.
Also, the M.C.C.I. recommends the inclusion of the following
arbitral clause in commercial contracts:
"Any dispute arising out of the present contract shall be
settled in accordance with the Rules of Conciliation and
Arbitration of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry by
(one or three Arbitrators ) appointed in accordance with the said
Rules.

The language used during the arbitral proceedings shall be
