    Abstract:

    The European Commission has a unit on "Access to Finance" under the "Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General". This unit facilitates access to finance for European enterprises, by developing legislation and policy orientations, designing financial instruments and evaluating their implementation, disseminating information on new policies and good practices. Although devoted to European enterprises, this site can also provide useful information for developing countries about methodologies and best practices in microfinancing.
