Kuwait: Improving the international competitiveness of food and beverage producers

The project will enhance the competitiveness of Kuwaiti SMEs from the food and beverage sector and support them in increasing and diversifying their exports. From a developmental perspective, increased SME competitiveness will result in creating jobs and incomes and export diversification will reduce the country's vulnerability to negative oil shocks, which is a key impact area included in ITCs strategy for the Arab States.
The project aims at achieving the following four outcomes:
