What is EUREP-GAP?

 EUREP is the Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group, which represents some leading European food retailers. It aims at promoting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in the production of agricultural products. EUREP has developed a framework for Good Agricultural Practice, called EUREPGAP, aiming at ensuring food safety and traceability in the production chain (www.eurep.org/guidelines).
