    • Techniques for Managing National Export Strategy, January; ITC.

    •
    • Competitiveness through Export Clustering: Strategic Considerations, April; Tirupur, India, with the Tirupur Export Association and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

    • Financing the Partnership - Successful Management of Matching Grant Schemes, May; Tunis, with FAMEX, Tunisia and the World Bank.

    •
    • Tourism Mega-Clusters - A Strategic Approach to Value-addition and Value Retention, June; Kingston, Jamaica, with the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO).

    •
    • A Strategic Approach to the Quality Assurance Challenge, July; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    Global debate on services exporting

The Executive Forum's annual global debate will focus on "A Services-led Export Strategy: Issues and Responses", in October in Montreux, Switzerland. The event's richness is evident from the participants, who come from every continent, from the private and public sectors, international organizations and government ministries. This global gathering has taken place annually since 1999. Regional forums have been under way since 2001. The Executive Forum research and debates have been strongly supported by seco, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
