Phase one of CTAP was finalised in 2010 and involved the training of 21 now certified Export Management Development advisers in China during July of that year. The recent discussions focused on how best to implement phase two as well as agreeing terms for and signing a licensing agreement granting the National Centre - Export Management Development (NC-EMD) in China to use ITC’s methodology, material and tools when designing and delivering training and counselling programmes.
The
CCPIT and ITC both agreed a mutual desire to expand cooperation and expressed a shared view that our partnership should not be limited to CTAP but be expanded to cover other ITC services and products with the CCPIT taking a multiplier role.
The visiting delegation was led by Mr YU Xiaodong, the Vice Secretary of CCPIT and included officials from the Training Division of Sub-Councils and Membership Affairs Department at the CCPIT. They were welcomed to the ITC by the Executive Director, Ms. Patricia Francis, with substantive discussions involving ITC’s technical sections.
