resolve disputes through arbitration or conciliation. Founded in

The Chamber deals with disputes arising in multiple areas of
industry and commerce, including distribution and trade, industrial
projects, transportation operations, investments, licenses of
registered trademarks and franchising contracts. It organizes
arbitration in accordance with the French decrees of May 14, 1980
and May 12, 1981. The Chamber offers several proceedings to be
followed, including "Institutional Proceedings", "Associated
Proceedings" and "External Proceedings". The Institutional
Proceedings are administered under the standard Rules of the
Arbitration Chamber of Paris, Mediation-Conciliation Rules of
Procedure, CAP-ACAREF Arbitration Rules applying primarily to
financial disputes, or FFF Arbitration Rules applying to
franchising disputes. The Associated Proceedings are administered
under various sets of Rules specific to particular areas of
industry or economy. The External Proceedings include arbitrations
under UNCITRAL Rules and ad hoc arbitrations administered by
arbitrators with the support of the Chamber's services and
experience but in a non-institutional way.
