Established in 1984, Angel Footwear is located in the seaside port city of Durban, currently employs 68 people and produces 1,000 pairs of shoes per day.
The company manufactures closed shoes (boys, infants, girls, men's casual), school shoes, sport (hiking, outdoor shoes/boots), but specialises in Velskoens, - a moccasin - type, rugged and durable, yet comfortable leather shoe that has been used by explorers since the days of the Voortrekkers (Pioneers) that trekked into and developed the interior of South Africa in the 18th century - the African Survivor.
Other brands are: Angeo, Jolly Jumper, Tasi and Tuff Kidz. |
